Wiesbaden - WI-Box opened
With the WI-Box, the administration of Wiesbaden is adapting to the flexible needs of citizens and creating an interesting new service offering independence from opening hours from March 2021.
City of Taunusstein - The new ID card terminal is on its way: collecting ID cards around the clock.
As of 13th January 2021, a new service is available at the Taunusstein citizens' registration office.
The new Kern identity card terminal is located in the town hall’s UG1 underground car park. This allows citizens to pick up their identity cards 24 hours a day.
Town of Langenhagen now has a collection terminal for documents in front of the town hall
Anyone who wants to be independent of the opening hours of the Langenhagen Citizens' Office can now have their documents deposited at the town hall pick-up station.

City of Bensheim
Digital identity card terminal for the city of Bensheim. First implementation in Hessen.
Between Frankfurt and Heidelberg lies Bensheim, the largest town in the Bergstrasse district, nestled between the hills of the Odenwald forest and the vast plain of the Hessian reed. City of Leonberg
Collecting ID documents and passports around the clock.
Leonberg is a city in the center of the German state of Baden-Württemberg, about 13 kilometres west of Stuttgart. With a population of around 48,000, it is the third largest town in the district of Böblingen after Sindelfingen and Böblingen and has been designated as a medium-sized center for the surrounding municipalities.
City of Ludwigsburg
In the ID Terminal, previously requested ID cards and passports can be picked up easily, flexibly and regardless of opening hours.
Together with Kern, the city of Ludwigsburg introduces Germany's first ID Terminal. The municipality was the first city in Germany to put a Kern ID Terminal into operation.
